Yeah Phillies!?

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Well the sirens are out, a different type of siren than mine; the ambulance.  You see the Phillies won the world series tonight and this is the unfortunate result.  Public drunkeness and extreme fanaticism don’t mix, hence I decided to stay off the streets tonight and in my apartment drawing.  Here’s what I drew:

Ok I’d like to sleep now people, enough of the car horns.

Sirens Song

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

For the past few months I’ve been working on making new work for my first solo show opening in December at Aphrodite Gallery here in Philadelphia.  Aphrodite gallery is located in Passional Toys (620 S. 5th St.) which sells fetishistic accessories and props, so in keeping with the tone of the store I decided to explore the nude and…stockings.

The show, which opens the second friday in December (12th), will be called ‘Sirens Song’ in response to a recurring motif I noticed nearing the completion of the body of work.

First couple pages from a traveling pocket book I carry around:

This is also to acknowledge that I have a blog that I will be updating, like a plant needs water.
