Dr. Sketchy’s Philly
Saturday, March 21st, 2009Attended Dr. Sketchy’s life model drawing session last night at the Sanctuary of Fleishcer Art Memorial. The theme was ‘Sketchy in Wonderland’ so the model’s were adorned in some fashion or another, Alice In Wonderland attire; I had to go.
Here’s some of the drawings I did:
(two ten minute poses)
(three two minute poses)
(one forty minute pose broken into two twenty minute sessions)
(detail)
I could have spent hours just drawing her tattoo’s. She had some good ones.
Special thanks to the ladies Cherry Bomb and Key of The Peek-A-Boo Revue! who posed for such unnatural periods of time. I know that is difficult to do.
Autumn 08 drawing book posted
Sunday, January 18th, 2009Thanks to Cobrawine ( http://www.cobrawine.com/ ) for helping me post my latest carry around book in the ‘Books’ section. It’s titled 08 Autumn. Some of the drawings from this period I want to translate into lino cuts and woodcuts; multi-colored ones. Hopefully in the next couple months I’ll have some to show you.
